National Testing Agency (NTA) is organizing JEE Main twice in 2019.JEE Main
2019 (January session)has been conducted between 8th to 12th January and April
session will be conducted from 7th April 2019 onwards. Paper - 1 (B.E./ B.Tech)
– 8th , 9th 10th& 12th April, 2019 and Paper - 2 (B.Arch/B. Planning) – 7th
April, 2019.The best of the two scores in either of the January/April sessions
of JEE Main 2019 will be considered while preparing the Merit list of JEE Main
2019. This time both the January& April sessions of JEE Main 2019 is
Computer Based Tests. Students who further clear the cut off in JEE Main 2019
would be able to appear for JEE Advanced on 19th May 2019. Previous cut offs of
JEE Main will draw the attention of the students as they aspire to crack one of
the most coveted exams of the country. Getting familiar with the past year
paper trends will be handy and useful for the students. Some of the valuable

Selection in any competitive exam is based on one’s

Yes, there are portals which conduct Mock Tests for JEE Main
2019. The most famous web portal for Mock Test is www.mypat.in. This will help the students to be familiar
with their strong and weak areas. Stay
fit and healthy for the exam as it enhances your performance in the exam.
Things that need to keep in mind on the eve of the exam
-Do remember to carry your JEE Main 2019 admit card. Read
for instructions on the admit card as you will not be allowed to carry any
stationery like pens, erasers writing Boards, etc.
-Don’t stay awake late in the night. Be in bed by 10 or
10:30 pm and this should be added to your daily routine one month before the
exam.
-Focus on your health, eat healthy and home-made food.
-Stay away from the students who revise topics a few minutes
before the exam at the examination venue.

Preparation tips- Subject wise
1.Mathematics
Keeping in previous year trends, Co-ordinate Geometry,
algebra, and Calculus are the topics which need to be given more attention.
Topics like mathematical reasoning, statistics and determinants can be helpful
in increasing the score. Refer to previous year question papers for a better
understanding of what to expect.
2.Physics
Kinematics and Particle Dynamics are two topics which are
asked most of the times in the exam. As per the trends, Mechanics, Electricity,
and Magnetism are the topics from which questions are always asked.
Thermodynamics is the most important chapter both in Physics and Chemistry.
Wave Optics is much smaller as compared to Ray Optics to cover. Vectors need to
be studied properly, as it troubles most of the students. Modern Physics is theoretical, yet some
scoring questions are frequently asked.
3.Chemistry
Conceptual clarity, application skills, and awareness should
be of focus in chemistry. Special attention should be given to topics like Mole
Concept, Chemical Equilibrium, and Electrochemistry. As far as Inorganic chemistry is concerned,
the major topics such as chemical bonding, structures, processes, applications
and Coordination Chemistry should be given special attention. The students are
advised to first attempt theoretical questions than the ones which require
calculation.
